Sitting out in the courtyard, the Hufflepuff half blood known as Katherine Andrews currently had her nose stuck in one of her favorite fictional books. No one else happened to be out here so she figured this was a good place to relax and just read a little bit until her next class. Sighing quietly, she lifted her eyes from the book momentarily and glanced around the empty courtyard. She liked the peace, but at times it made her feel a bit lonely. Katherine didn't have many friends, and in all honesty didn't really need them. Her grades were fine, she was comfortable at Hogwarts, what more could she want?
Frowning to herself she shook her head, returning her gaze to the book. At least you're not like Maryann, she- Okay, so that was a bit harsh. Maryann was her sister, after all. Thoughts distracted now, the girl found herself unable to concentrate on the book and decided to slip it back into her bag. Remaining in her spot in the courtyard however.

After dodging a series of prefects while skipping class sebastian made the somewhat unwise decision to step out into the great hall. As a habitual class skipper and trouble maker it was a wonder that he had found his way into his seventh year at all, but he did hate that many of the prefects knew to look for him during his class hours. They were mostly younger than him and he hated it when they caught up to him and it was downright humiliating to be brought to class by some scrawny brown noser.
Looking around he spotted his cousin across the hall, who he knew would drag him off to class himself if Gabriel got his hands on Sebastian, who quickly slipped out of the great hall. He decided to venture outside, not wanting to stray to far from the school he meandered into the courtyard, expecting it to be pretty much diserted. As soon as he hit open air he pulled a cigarette out of his back pocket, a dirty muggle habit he figured would get him into trouble but he had hid it pretty well for the past two years when he brought the cancer sticks to school.
Using his wand he lit the tip, strolling through the courtyard. Across the way he noticed a young girl reading. She was pretty and he thought that he would have recognized her, but he was lost on her name. Holding the cig between his lips he wandered over quietly, coming up behind her he reached both arms on either side, leaning close to her. "hey."
ooc: hope you dont mind sebastian harassing your sweet girl

The blond was sat on one of the stone benches, back turned to the doors which led out into the courtyard. Every now and then she'd turn around briefly, just to make sure no one was attempting to creep up on her. In particular the redhead twins, who were a grade higher than her and known by their last name alone. Although the two guys were definitely good looking, they had a tendency to play pranks on Katherine moreso than anyone else due to the fact they alone knew she hated pranks being pulled on her. If anyone else was the victim, she was completely fine with it and also found it to be a little humorous at times.
A foul smell reached Katherine's nose, and she wrinkled it wondering what in Merlin's pants what it was. She jumped slightly at the sound of a guy's voice, turning slightly to face him. "Hi," Kath spoke quietly, resisting the urge to pull a face at the smoke in his mouth.
OOC: no problem, it's fine!

Sebastian smiled. He liked making people feel uneasy, creeping up and whispering on someones ear before disspearing into a crowd was one of his favorite things to do. Gabriel often frowned upon some of his behvior, although joined in the majority of it. One thing he had learned from his cousin who stayed away from the smokes was when someone was made uncomfortable by them, something he had come to respect.
"Sorry love." He apologized, pulling the cigarette from his mouth before backing up and tossing it to the ground. He crushed it with his foot and with a quick word muttered and a light at the tip of the wand he had drawn from his pocket the cancer stick shrivled and regrew as a white rose. He picked it, and moving to set next to the girl, reaching the flower out to her. "accept my deepest apologizes?"
Sebastian may not be the best guy in the world, but when it came to nicesties he was an expert, especially when a lady was involved.
