general:
Kyra’s heritage lies in quite a number of places; though she’s mostly Irish and other things of that sort. These deep European roots give her skin that naturally pale tone that hardly ever tans. It merely burns before returning to its natural pallor. Her skin is fairly flawless, save for the occasional scar here and there. Acne as a teen wasn’t completely awful for Kyra, but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t spared completely. Nonetheless, the pale tone of her skin works for her and is actually envied by some girls, simply for the fact that it gives off that elegant, marble-like appearance. Kyra is thin and tall, long and lean if you will. Her muscles are toned to the point of where you can see them under her skin, but she’s not so muscular that her strength is bordering on that of a body builder’s.

Kyra’s face is rather hearts-shaped. Her jaw line is fairly defined, the bone tapering into a small, proportionate chin. She has a high forehead, and her face is fairly symmetrical. Kyra’s lips are pink and full, revealing ideal white teeth when she smiles. As well, small dimples form at the sides of her chin when she smiles, something that can give away when she’s truly happy or just faking it. Her nose is small, yet slightly out of proportion with her face, being just a smidge big and shorter than what a computer would deem “perfect.”

Kyra’s hair is naturally a dark, almost black, brown, a pleasant rich color that didn’t last much through her teen years. UV-rays and hair dye have turned this girl’s locks a multitude of colors at various times. It’s gone from its original color to a light blonde, to auburn, back to dark brown, to--well, you get the point. A few years ago, Kyra decided to dye her hair more of a black, and has kept it that tone since. Now, there are a few more highlights and lowlights in the strands, but all in all, it’s the same color. Kyra’s hair is fair and naturally straight, reaching down to her lower back. It’s layered all around, shorter pieces framing her face, but constantly styled to wave out and back.

Above Kyra’s eyes are two thin and shaped dark eyebrows, the particular features shaped into a slight arch. Her eyes are spaced evenly on her face, and are almond in shape. Kyra’s eyes are brown, a color that commonly makes one’s eyes appear more flat than giving off the same depth as blue eyes. However, if one were to look closely at this girl’s eyes, a certain depth can be seen.

Kyra’s clothing style is quite simply casual, but comfortable. She doesn’t wander around all day in sweatpants and a t-shirt, but she’s known to do so when she’s home alone. As for being out in public, Kyra will wear just about anything. From shorts to skirts to pants, cami’s to fitted ts to blouses—Kyra can appear to not really have much of a particular style. Sure, she’s not one of those girls who won’t wear anything that’s not designer, but that doesn’t mean what she wears doesn’t look good. Just because it costs more doesn’t always mean its better, right? Kyra has her ears pierced twice and will generally wear smaller studs in the second holes, while she’ll select and exchange more intriguing earrings in her first. Her belly-button ring, tends to be smaller, a line of rhinestones or something of that sort. She also has a tattoo on her lower back, something she got when she was just sixteen. She rather regrets it though it isn’t too bad by most standards. It’s a simple design featuring two doves placed on either side of her spine. Kyra’s make-up is something she doesn’t care to over-do. Everything she puts on from eye shadow to lip-gloss doesn’t do much more than keep up a natural look. All in all? Kyra will put on whatever she wants and feels looks “pretty,” no matter if it’s out of style or not what others would prefer. She has a habit of caring about how others view her, thus she takes care to try and look good. She’s also a bit self conscious so she doesn’t exactly go around flaunting her body.

general:
Kyra McCormick is ultimately a shy, self conscious woman that comes off as simply innocent. She’s easy-going and quiet. She enjoys being able to sit back and watch people interacting with each other. Though she’d never admit it, nor would she ever act on such feelings, she longs for such companionship as she sees in the halls of the castle everyday. Though she is quiet and not easy to initially talk to, she will eventually warm up to people. Once this has happened, she is generally a loyal friend. She is kind and sweet and willing to have fun and laugh. She’s very friendly and nothing but polite, especially if she doesn’t quite know the person and they insist on talking to her. It is not uncommon to see a small, almost sad, smile on the girl’s face. There’s always been a sort of emptiness inside and she often feels alone in the world.

She has a soft spot in her heart for children. Her kindness only blossoms more when she comes into contact with a child and she brightens up. She’s a very gentle person and doesn’t care much for violence whatsoever. She just has a natural talent around young kids and they seem to be quite fond of her as well. Her kind-hearted personality is easily trusted by the younger children. She can almost communicate and interact better with kids than she can with people her own age.

Kyra loves to exercise, something she picked up quickly due to being a somewhat chubby little kid. She makes sure to keep her body toned, jogging each morning to do so. Keeping fit makes her feel healthy, and much better than if she didn’t exercise. She can’t understand how some people can be lazy enough to never bother to spend time moving about, let alone not working out. Kyra knows for a fact that she’s better off keeping in shape than those people who sit around all day, it also makes her feel a bit better about herself. Nonetheless, she can get up fairly early in the morning to jog, something her body has gotten used to after a while.

Kyra is kind and sweet; she feels a need to do whatever she can to aid others, and has gotten to the point of not even needing to try to seem such a way. She enjoys being able to help others and has a hard time saying ‘no’ when someone asks her for a favor. This willingness to help has gotten her taken advantage of and hurt by a few people, and thus has pushed her further away from people.

Kyra has trust issues. Because she’s had a history of getting walked all over, betrayal, and not having very many friends while she was in school herself, she doesn’t trust others too easily. She can come off as very reserved when around others and is not exactly welcome to close contact, especially from people she doesn’t know very well. She can also be very aware of her personal bubble, especially when placed in a large crowd of people.

She is also a hopeless romantic. She dreams of one day finding her true love and that he’ll one day sweep her off her feet. She longs for the connection that comes with a relationship. All in all, Kyra has a good heart. She’s a pure, innocent girl who chooses to be utterly loyal and puts on a cheerful face, no matter what she’s doing or how she truly feels.
